Praise be to the Earth

She who is the genesis of all life.
She who nourishes those who live on her surface.
Providing breath, sustenance, and shelter,
asking nothing save our mindful care.
Praise be to the mother

Praise be to the Sun

He who gives the Earth warmth and light,
that in turn allows the Earth to give us life.
He who allows plants to grow and animals to see.
He whose power can burn if not respected.
Praise be to the father

Do you finally want to worship gods that you can actually see? Ones that have a literal impact on your daily life? Ones that actually give life in a provable and observable fashion? Ones that have true immense power, and vast beauty? If this all resonates with you, then congratulations; you are a Terrasolist. That’s all it takes. There is no sign-up form, and no membership dues. No chapel and no priest. As a new religion, and a highly individualistic one, Terrasolism is what you make of it. Follow the principles, pay your respects to the gods, and the rest is up to you. That’s all it takes to be a Terrasolist.

If you really want to pay tithing, consider paying to offset your personal carbon emissions, or donating to a nature preserve like the national parks in the United States. If you decide to donate to offset your carbon footprint, just make sure you are aware of the flaws in the accounting and tracking stage of the system. (Sources: Wendover & Climate Town)
